Jon Hirst serves nonprofit organizations as a fractional innovation leader, helping teams imagine what is next and move toward the future with clarity, graciousness, and tenacity.
With more than 25 years of experience, Jon's work spans global missions, higher education, publishing, aid and development, evangelism, discipleship, and media. Jon’s perspective is rooted in the belief that every person has a unique human contribution to make, and that technology should help people more fully step into that contribution. He sees AI not as an end in itself, but as a tool in human hands, one that can support creativity, strengthen capacity, and help organizations do the work they are uniquely called to do.
As a HumanCulture Fellow, Jon brings deep experience in nonprofit transformation, innovation, and mission-driven leadership. His work helps leaders and organizations navigate changing technical capabilities while staying grounded in the people, purpose, and human contribution at the center of their work.
