We primarily serve Christians in organizational leadership and management roles across multiple industries and sectors, including entrepreneurs and investors.

We believe society lacks a compelling vision for work and that the American Church perpetuates this problem without access to excellent vocational discipleship. There is an also an imagination gap between understanding God's vision for work and knowing and doing what that means in modern jobs and companies. We recognize individuals and organizations (churches, businesses, and nonprofits) need support to integrate that vision into their philosophy and practice. We also see a great need for marketplace leaders to find solutions to cities' most pressing needs through their business rather than only being invited to fund the solutions the public and social sectors offer.

What makes Denver Institute distinct is our determined focus on formation for mission. Work is a primary arena for an individual's growth into a fully human life, shaped like Jesus Christ. It is also a primary arena for joining God's work in the world to make all things right. So, we focus on the inner formation of workers while inviting them to participate in the work God is doing exactly where he has placed them with the majority of their time.
